How You Can Market Your Summer Business
You don’t have to reinvent the wheel with your marketing campaign during the hot summer months. You don’t have to operate your business that way. There are ways to market your business without the traditional difficulties. In fact, making advertisements for distribution is still the best way to market lawn care services.
Using advertisements or paper advertisements are much more inexpensive compared to radio and television ads. And many people are more apt to respond to these types of advertisements because they have been familiar with them for many years.
You should distribute the advertisements any where that you are willing to work. If you are willing to cross town then it is important you get your advertisements out in that area. This will help people become familiar with you because even after you have worked for someone, the word of mouth will continue to drive business to you.
Ensure that you create a simple advertisement. With simple text and a good call to action, you should be able to attract all kinds of business. You may also want to include some images of your work but don’t stress about it if you don’t include them.
A regular sized piece of paper is all you need and sometimes even half of that is acceptable. Just make sure that the letters are big and easy to read. You may also want to have tabs for phone numbers that people can snap off and put in to their wallets.
A bit of a secret is to make sure that you have your advertisements well distributed before the lawn care season actually starts so that you are in to people’s minds before anyone else is. The best people to target will be older people. They will treat you very well and often have you coming back year after year.
