Swimming Pool Chemicals That You Need For Your Water
You require to have a variety of swimming pool chemicals in order to maintain healthy and clean water. The different chemicals do have an important role and these general types are mentioned here but before you spend any money just be sure you know where you are going to keep them.
First of all you need some kind of sanitiser as this is what keeps it clean and kills the bacteria that may be in the water. They generally include chlorine which does act fast on the bacteria but you must take care when applying it to ensure there is not too much added at any one time.
You need to also include some form of ph correction chemical because the chlorine aspect is not going to work as well if the ph figure rises in the water. What these do is they keep the ph figure almost neutral as this then lets the other things such as the chlorine really work to the best of their ability.
For your filter you should use flocculants which contain aluminium sulphate as the main ingredient. What this does is it is a coagulant which prevents sand getting out of your filter into the water as this then makes it all cloudy when it really should be clear.
Last of all you should look at something called balanced water as this should mean the heater is not going to be damaged through corrosion. The one you need depends on if you have hard or soft water as some may need the alkalinity altered but some require more calcium so check your water for these things.
These swimming pool chemicals have just been mentioned in brief but within each type there are different chemicals you can actually use. It is therefore very important that you do ask someone who is an expert at this kind of thing before you spend any money as at least then you know you have the right thing for your situation.
